What this Playskool box is
This is the first-year toy half of the First Steps Floor mat: Critter Building Blocks. The figure on the listing is $14.99; the shell is heavier than it photographs. 1 pieces go in the bin. Stock was running low on the last sweep; it tends to come back.
Play tends to be loud, physical and repetitive, which is exactly what this stage is for. New explorers repeat a thing forty times before they move on, and the fun is in the repetition rather than the novelty.
On the floor it lives near the Playskool blocks and the stacking cups, because that is the corner of the room where everything gets tipped out at once. Parents tend to keep one Playskool box per kind of afternoon rather than ten of the same toy, and this is the one that covers its slot.
