Playskool Super Hero Adventures Mega Mighties Marvel Captain Marvel — a toy from the Hero Squad mat

What this Playskool box is

Super Hero Adventures Mega Mighties Marvel Captain Marvel occupies the busy end of the Hero Squad mat as a pocket hero. Listed at $24.00, with the sort of chunky proportions that make it obvious which way up it goes. Colour on the listing reads Multicolor. Only a few were showing when this mat was last swept.

Play tends to be loud, physical and repetitive, which is exactly what this stage is for. New explorers repeat a thing forty times before they move on, and the fun is in the repetition rather than the novelty.

On the floor it lives near the Playskool blocks and the stacking cups, because that is the corner of the room where everything gets tipped out at once. Parents tend to keep one Playskool box per kind of afternoon rather than ten of the same toy, and this is the one that covers its slot.
